Privacy notice

Last updated 14 September 2026

This notice explains what personal information CloudSAIT Solutions collects through this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet our obligations under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who is responsible

CloudSAIT Solutions, Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa, is the responsible party for the personal information described here. Questions, requests and complaints go to lukas@cloudsait.com.

What we collect

Only what you type into the contact form on this site: your name, email address, and optionally your company and the message you write. Nothing else is collected, and none of it is required to browse the site.

We do not run analytics, advertising or tracking of any kind on this site, and we set no cookies. There is no profiling and no automated decision-making.

Why we collect it

To read your enquiry and reply to it. That is the only purpose. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not add you to a mailing list.

On what basis

You give it to us voluntarily when you choose to contact us, and we process it to respond to your request and to take steps toward a possible contract with you.

Who else sees it

Your enquiry is stored by our hosting provider and forwarded to our email. Both operate outside South Africa under recognised data protection terms. We share it with nobody else.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for the conversation they started and for our own records, and are deleted when that no longer applies. Ask us to delete yours sooner and we will.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to our processing it, and withdraw your consent at any time. Email lukas@cloudsait.com and we will action it.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa at inforegulator.org.za.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, so what you submit is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect to the minimum needed, which is the most effective protection available.

Changes

If this notice changes we will update the date at the top of this page.

This notice describes our actual practice in plain language. It is not legal advice, and if your own compliance depends on it you should have it reviewed.
